8-Day Private Safari – Masai Mara to Tsavo

Day 1 – Nairobi → Masai Mara
Depart Nairobi in the morning and journey through the scenic Great Rift Valley towards the Masai Mara National Reserve. Arrive in time for lunch, followed by your first thrilling afternoon game drive in search of lions, elephants, and other iconic wildlife.

A full day in the Mara, with morning and afternoon game drives across its vast savannahs. Spot the Big Five and, in migration season, witness the dramatic river crossings. Optional experiences include a hot air balloon safari or Maasai village visit.

Enjoy a morning game drive before heading to Lake Naivasha. After lunch, take a boat ride to see hippos, fish eagles, and other birdlife, with a chance to walk among wildlife on Crescent Island.

Travel south to Amboseli, famed for its large elephant herds and striking views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Arrive for an afternoon game drive and capture unforgettable photos of wildlife framed by Africa’s highest peak.

Spend the day exploring Amboseli’s open plains and marshlands. Look out for cheetahs, giraffes, buffalo, and numerous bird species.

After breakfast, drive to Tsavo West, a park of dramatic landscapes and volcanic formations. Visit Mzima Springs to view hippos and crocodiles from the underwater observation chamber.

Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in Tsavo West. Explore highlights such as the Shetani Lava Flow and the scenic Chyulu Hills, while searching for rhinos, leopards, and large buffalo herds.
