Day 1 - Arusha Town/Kilimanjaro Intl Airport - Arusha National Park

Depart Arusha/Kilimanjaro Airport at 08.30 am for your 1st game drive to Arusha National Park. Here you can choose to participate in a half day walking safari and a half day game drive or have a full day game drive. You will be accompanied by an armed ranger for the walk, who will guide you through the forest up to the waterfall and the point for viewing the black and white colobus monkeys. During the game drive you will see the 7 Lakes of Momella, a whole lot of wildlife, flamingos  and the Nguruduto Crater.  Your lunch will be served in picnic style inside the park as you enjoy its wonderful nature. At sunset, you will return to camp/lodge for dinner and overnight. Destination: Arusha National Park Travel Time: 1/2 to 3 hrs. Day 2 - Arusha National Park - Tarangire National Park

Have your breakfast and leave the lodge/hotel in the morning at 08.30 am, drive for about 90 minutes to Tarangire National Park. This park is often referred to as the “home of elephants”, you have a great chance to spot elephants in large groups gathering around the Tarangire River. Other animals to be spotted include leopards, lions, giraffes and even tree-climbing pythons!. Enjoy your picnic lunch inside the park before a short afternoon game drive to ensure your opportunity for game viewing is well utilized. Later dinner and overnight at Tarangire national park. Day 3 - Tarangire National Park - Serengeti National Park

Early breakfast at the camp/lodge in the morning, we then depart to Serengeti. Game drive en route to Serengeti National Park. Serengeti is the largest and most famous park in Tanzania, known worldwide for its endless plains, wildebeest-migration, herds of lions and other predators like hyenas, cheetahs and leopards. Crocodiles can be found in the Grumeti River, as well as hippos, giraffes, antelopes, and gazelles. You’ll take lunch during the trip as a picnic and have a full dinner once you reach the camp or lodge that you’ve chosen for your stay in the Serengeti. Day 4 - Full Day in Serengeti National Park

The Serengeti is undoubtedly a special place, and it deserves a special viewpoint to do justice to the beauty within. You can choose to take a hot air balloon over the park at day-break, watching the sky turn from black, to shades of orange and red, until it finally turns blue to mark the start to another glorious day on the savanna. You’ll have a different appreciation for the landscape and the sheer size of the terrain covered by the animals that live here. Once you return to solid ground you will be treated to a champagne breakfast on a viewing platform with panoramas over the grasses. As an optional activity, there’s an additional fee of $500 per person for this experience. The rest of your day is dedicated to game drives throughout the park, with a choice of breaking up the day with a return to your accommodation for lunch or taking your midday meal as a picnic deep inside the park, surrounded by nature. Either way, you have access to one of the most densely populated nature reserves in Africa, where you’ll have plenty of chance to observe and photograph them in their natural habitat. As the sun sets, once again treating you to multicolored skies, you will head back to your camp or lodge. Dinner is served and you then have time to reflect on the day and rest up, ready for another day out in the wilds. Day 5 - Serengeti National Park - Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Although today you will leave Serengeti National Park, you will remain very much within the same biosphere as you move southwards towards Ngorongoro Conservation Area that is attached to a much wider area under protection. Breakfast will be served early so you can get out on to the Serengeti early and complete your swansong game drive before moving into the area of the infamous crater. As you pass through the area, you will come across Olduvai Gorge, a sparsely planted area that holds the key to human history. Here, Dr Richard Leakey spent years digging for the earliest human remains, with some bones dating back over a million years. He also discovered untold numbers of some of the first tools crafted by early humans; one of the most important discoveries in our history. To learn more about this fascinating place, you have the option to pay a visit to the museum on the site, for a fee of $40 per person. Round of the day by arriving at your accommodation, either directly on the crater’s edge or on the lands just outside. Here, you’ll have dinner and have time to relax and appreciate viewing terraces that may be provided. Destination: Ngorongoro conservation area Travel Time: 2 to 3 hrs. Day 6 - Ngorongoro Crater - Lake Manyara National Park

         

Day 7 - Lake Manyara National Park - Arusha

A full day in Lake Manyara National Park, famous for its green scenery, varied bird life, tree-climbing lions, hippos and baboons. Early sunrise game drive and picnic lunch. In the afternoon, drive back to Arusha. End of Tour! No Accommodation on this last day Travel Time: 2 to 3 hrs. (126 Km) Meals: Breakfast and Lunch
