Days 1–2: Nairobi → Amboseli National Park

Your adventure begins in Nairobi with a drive south to Amboseli National Park, renowned for its postcard-perfect views of Mount Kilimanjaro and large elephant herds. After lunch at your lodge or camp, set out on your first game drive across the park’s plains and wetlands. On Day 2, enjoy a full day of game drives, exploring Amboseli’s swamps and acacia woodlands in search of lions, cheetahs, buffalo, giraffes, and over 400 bird species.

Day 3: Amboseli → Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast, journey through the Great Rift Valley to Lake Nakuru National Park. Arrive in time for lunch and an afternoon game drive. The park is famed for its rhino sanctuary, Rothschild giraffes, seasonal flamingos, and the occasional leopard sighting. Dinner and overnight will be at a lodge or camp near the park.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru → Masai Mara National Reserve

Following breakfast, depart for the Masai Mara National Reserve, Kenya’s most celebrated safari destination. After settling into your lodge or tented camp, head out for an afternoon game drive across the vast savannah, where elephants, wildebeests, zebras, and predators roam freely.

Day 5: Full Day in Masai Mara

Spend the day exploring the Mara with extensive game drives. Look out for the Big Five  lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino  as well as cheetahs and hyenas. Between July and October, witness the world-famous Great Wildebeest Migration as millions of wildebeest and zebras cross the Mara River. Optional experiences include a hot air balloon safari at sunrise or a visit to a Maasai village.

Day 6: Masai Mara → Nairobi – Departure

Begin the day with an early morning game drive before returning to camp for breakfast. Check out and drive back to Nairobi, arriving in the afternoon for a drop-off at your hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
