This safari is focused on Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to nearly half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas.

What is included in the safari package?

The package typically includes transport in a 4×4 safari vehicle, services of a professional driver-guide, park entry fees, gorilla trekking permits, accommodation for 2 nights, meals as per itinerary, and bottled drinking water.

Do I need a permit for gorilla trekking?

Yes. A gorilla trekking permit is mandatory and included in your package. The permit allows you one hour of close interaction with a habituated gorilla family in Bwindi.

When is the best time to visit Bwindi?

Bwindi is open year-round, but the dry seasons (June–August and December–February) are best for trekking, as the trails are less slippery and more comfortable to hike.
