Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi

On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you’ll be met by your safari guide and transferred to your hotel in Nairobi for rest and orientation. Depending on arrival time, optional activities such as visiting the Giraffe Centre, Karen Blixen Museum, or a Nairobi city tour can be arranged.

Day 2: Nairobi – Masai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast, depart for the Masai Mara by road or optional flight. On arrival, check into your safari lodge or tented camp and enjoy lunch. In the afternoon, set out for your first game drive across the Mara’s rolling plains, where elephants, lions, giraffes, and cheetahs roam freely.

Day 3: Full-Day Game Viewing in the Mara

Spend the day immersed in the wilderness with morning and afternoon game drives. Keep your eyes open for the Big Five—lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and buffalo—as well as countless other species. Between July and October, you may witness the Great Migration, a breathtaking natural spectacle of wildebeest and zebra crossing the Mara River. Optional activities such as a hot air balloon safari followed by a champagne breakfast can be arranged.

Day 4: Masai Mara – Nairobi / Departure

After breakfast, enjoy a final game drive as you exit the reserve. Drive or fly back to Nairobi, arriving in time for lunch or last-minute shopping. Later, transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward flight home (international airfare not included).
