Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi

Karibu Kenya Upon landing at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, your safari guide will warmly welcome you and transfer you to your Nairobi hotel. Depending on arrival time, you may opt for an excursion to the Giraffe Centre, Karen Blixen Museum, or a guided city tour.

Day 2: Nairobi – Ol Pejeta Conservancy

After breakfast, drive to Ol Pejeta Conservancy, a pioneering sanctuary renowned for its conservation work. Highlights include seeing the last two northern white rhinos, visiting the chimpanzee sanctuary, and exciting game drives in search of the Big Five.

Day 3: Ol Pejeta – Samburu National Reserve

Today you journey north to Samburu National Reserve, a striking wilderness of rugged hills, acacia woodlands, and the Ewaso Nyiro River. Arrive in time for lunch, followed by your first game drive in this reserve famed for its “Samburu Special Five”Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich, beisa oryx, and gerenuk.

Day 4: Full Day in Samburu National Reserve

Enjoy a full day of game drives in Samburu. The reserve teems with elephants, lions, leopards, and cheetahs, alongside its rare northern species. Between drives, relax at your lodge or camp. Optional: visit a Samburu village for a cultural experience

Day 5: Samburu – Aberdare National Park

After breakfast, travel south to Aberdare National Park, a lush highland sanctuary of forests, waterfalls, and misty peaks. Check into your tree lodge, where you’ll enjoy unique wildlife viewing from the comfort of your balcony as animals gather at the waterhole below.

Day 6: Aberdare – Nairobi / Departure

After breakfast, check out and drive back to Nairobi. Depending on your schedule, enjoy last-minute shopping or optional city activities before your transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward flight (international airfare not included).
